As Free, As bound

In 100 level maths class, Uncle Joe thought me Principle of Mathematical Induction. It was fun. You see, uncle Joe is a maths clown (no red wig or painted face but he has the protruding belly and funny facial expressions ). Guess that's one of the reason's(fortunately) most of us understood what he taught us. I really can't remember any other particular topic he taught, (sorry uncle Joe!) but I remember PMI vividly(unfortunately). According to PMI, (lay man's terms), if something happened the first time, and it happens the second time...it most likely will happen the third, if it does, it's more than likely to happen the fourth, fifth....time.
Here's my drift, we tend to allow negative things happen to us, because they once had!
You failed once, doesn't have to mean you'll fail again, you lost twice, doesn't mean you'll lose again.
Come on! look closely, you CAN be the Best you're meant to be!

She sat there all by herself, looking helpless and lost,
resigning herself to the only option she could see-hunger and finally death.
She wouldn't even allow herself remember
that in the past that seems so far away, she had the powr
that there was life, there was love and so was laughter.
There was more than enough food for merry, so much fun, one just couldn't get weary,
light-emitting energy that infected all and as many.
See, the man of the house had woven many a lie to keep her under,
he'd said she's been forsaken, so indebted, no one could redeem her.
But on this very day, she opened the door when she heard a faint knock,
quite surprised that it wasn't even locked,
her heart beating faster as she walked towards her maker, accepting all He offers,
knowing she's free and she really does matter.
